Library Rules

In order to provide a safe and appropriate environment, The following rules governing use of the Library have been established by the Wyoming Free Library Board of Trustees and will be enforced:

  • no abusive, obscene or threatening, or annoying language and/or behavior
  • no alcohol or illegal drugs
  • no animals, except those assisting disabled persons
  • no uncovered upper torso or bare feet
  • no offensive personal hygiene which will constitute a nuisance to others
  • no activity unrelated to use of a public library while in the building
  • no exhibitionism, voyeurism or lewd behavior
  • no feet on furniture or walls
  • no food or beverages
  • no gambling
  • no noise disturbing to others
  • no sexual harassment
  • no smoking
  • no soliciting
  • no damage or theft of Library/Patron property
  • no weapons
  • no children under the age of ten (10) shall be left unattended in the library for more than one (1) hour without a parent or guardian
